The Legend of Zelda – Live-Action Movie Coming April 30, 2027

Nintendo and Sony Pictures are bringing The Legend of Zelda to theaters in a major live-action adaptation, scheduled for worldwide release on April 30, 2027. The release date was recently moved forward by one week from May 7.

The movie is directed by Wes Ball, with Benjamin Evan Ainsworth starring as Link and Bo Bragason as Princess Zelda.

Recent casting news also revealed that Uli Latukefu will portray Ganondorf, adding another major piece to the cast.

Plot details are still being kept largely under wraps, but fans will soon get to experience the legendary world of Hyrule as a live-action cinematic adventure.
