Elden Ring, the critically acclaimed action-RPG developed by FromSoftware in collaboration with George R. R. Martin, is officially heading to cinemas. Director Alex Garland – celebrated for cerebral genre films including Ex Machina, Annihilation, and Civil War – personally pitched the project to FromSoftware, driven by his genuine passion for the game.

The film is being produced for prestige studio A24 with a reported budget of over $100 million, making it the studio's most ambitious production to date. The entire film will be captured in IMAX format, promising an unprecedented visual experience for fans stepping into the Lands Between for the first time on screen.
