Masterful Craftsmanship The katana is handcrafted in the traditional Yamato Nihonto tradition, the oldest smithing technique in Japan. The blade is hand-forged from Japanese high-carbon steel in a Sanmai structure, folded to 1024 layers, and differentially clay-tempered. The result is an extremely sharp edge (Rockwell hardness 60) with a more flexible spine (Rockwell hardness 35) and an excellent, visible hada (folding pattern).

Exquisite Fittings The katana's appearance is perfected by its fine mountings (Koshirae). The central motif is the dragonfly (Tonbo), a symbol of courage and strength.

Fittings: The Tsuba, Fuchi, Kashira, Seppa, Habaki, and Menuki are crafted from copper and silver, adorned with hand-engraved dragonfly motifs.
Handle (Tsuka): The Imogata-shaped handle is wrapped in genuine rayskin and premium Japanese black silk (Tsuka-Ito). It can be fully disassembled for maintenance.
Scabbard (Saya): The Saya features a matte, dark purple finish with silver fittings (Kurikata, Sayajiri) and a dragonfly inlay.
