The polished surface reveals a striking hada (grain pattern), showcasing the layered craftsmanship.

The dragonfly symbolizes tireless movement and dedication, values cherished by the Samurai. The iron tsuba with an inlaid copper dragonfly perfectly complements the weathered design. The Ryugo-style tsuka (slightly waisted grip), paired with dark brown ito and black ray skin, offers both visual distinction and an excellent grip – ideal for martial arts practitioners.
