The Tauber Sword – Hand-forged and sharp masterpiece now available

The Tauber Sword represents the pinnacle of contemporary sword-making. Created through an exclusive collaboration between Valiant Armoury and renowned swordsmith Angus Trim, this sword is designed for collectors, historical fencing practitioners, and serious enthusiasts.

Its hand-forged blade is made from 5160 high-performance carbon steel and follows the proven Type XVIIIb blade geometry, known for exceptional cutting performance, durability, and thrusting capability. With a blade length of 89.2 cm and a total length of 114.6 cm, the sword delivers both reach and control.

A carefully tuned point of balance at 10.8 cm from the crossguard ensures excellent handling, while the overall weight of just 1.27 kg makes the sword agile and responsive despite its size.

The fittings feature an elegant antiqued grey finish, complemented by a grip in antiqued brown, giving the sword a timeless historical appearance. This is both a functional weapon and a striking collector’s piece.
